  1. To all the stupid people commenting:
"Dashi has fish and now I cant do the recipe" She literally showed you she made her broth with a mushroom and seaweed. Pay attention.
"Its not vegetarian, it has an egg" Vegetarians eat eggs. Vegans dont. Remove the eggs if you want it vegan. And no, eggs are not meat, you weirdos.
"Theres meat in this" What? Where? Actually watch the video!

  2. Wow I didn't know that there was vegan or vegetarian ramen, so cool I like ramen it's really tasty.

  3. I love that I found your channel! Please keep up the amazing recipe and videos! Thank you!!!

  4. This turned out amazing, better than the stuff I got from a restaurant. I was a bit worred b/c i made a ton of subsitutes for things I didn't have on hand (subbed dashi for Vietnamese mushroom broth, the sake for chinese cooking wine, and the ground up seasome seeds for tahini) and it still came out well. such a great vegan recipe! thank you so much.

  5. is 30 min enough time for a good dashi? I read it should be at least 24 hours..

  6. Can I use milk on this recipe ? Thank you.

  7. egg is technically meat and not a vegetable

  8. Can I use regular milk instead of Soy milk? because Soy milk is hardly available where I live and I do consume dairy products

  9. Hm how is it vegetarian when it has meat and an egg in it

  17. I've been trying to perfect my vegetarian ramen for about a month, and your recipe just helped me take it a step farther with the soy milk and chili bean paste. Thanks!

  18. I have a question…. where does one get the type of bowl that they grind the sesame seeds to paste? I'd love to get one but don't know where to look

just made it now. and it REALLY tastes like the original. just decided to go meat free two weeks ago, so I`ve been searching for meatless substitutes for food, that I normally eat. This definitely goes on my go-to recipe list. Thanks a ton 😀

By the way, I would say it tastes almost like dan dan men. and I normally make dan dan men with peanut butter, so I`ll try adding some peanut butter next time I make this 🙂

  32. we don't have kombu, miso in India?? do you know any substitutes?.?

  33. We just have for lunch and I think this is my new favourite ramen! I added some leftover shredded chicken instead of kimchi because my boyfriend loves his meat lol, but the soya milk based stock is amazing! Definitely making it again! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
