  1. Is there a better time to eat than others or does it make a difference? I currently work a 12 hour shift graveyard 19:0007:00 and sleep 08:0014:00. Also does anyone know a good keto and fodmap combination diet. Just asking since my girlfriend has ibs wondering if there is any good books or meal plans that can work for both since it would be hard going on 2 separate diets. Cooking two different meals wouldn't be cost effective. We already cut out wheat since it is a trigger, as well as lactose.

In the event of a low glucose concentration in the blood, most other tissues have alternative fuel sources besides ketone bodies and glucose (such as fatty acids), but the Brain Has An Obligatory Requirement for Glucose. On low-carb diet, the brain will still be largely dependent on glucose, although it may burn more ketones than on a regular diet. Glucose is your body primary source energy.

  28. Hey Steph. Followef your book for 1.5 years implicitly. Did everything to adapt to keto and lost visceral fat. BUT, low physical energy.

    I Addressed leaky gut, thyroid, electrolytes etc, etc.
    Back on regular low carb now and still fit and slim. But cholesterol is back up due to carbs. Have also done redundant and extensive blood panels. I prefer keto.
    I dont have thousands of dollars to hire you as a couch to figure how to fix it. Any good advice??
